Alums/Guest Users

The UWest Library is an academic library geared to servicing students. Alums and visitors will need to register at the reception desk of the administration building before entering the library. Guest users wishing to study or borrow books from the library are welcomed apply for an alum/guest user card. The annual fee is $60.

Individuals may also check their university/college/local library's interlibrary loan service if they wish to borrow an item from us.

How do I apply for an alum/guest user card?

You will need to apply in person at the library. Before coming to the library, please report to the reception desk in the administration building to register as a visitor on our campus. Then, go to library circulation desk and ask a staff member to give you the application form. After you fill out the form and provide payment, you will need to take a picture to get a alum/guest user's ID. You will receive your card thereafter.

Can I access the library's wireless system?

Currently, guest users are not setup to access wireless systems. Users may inquire at the circulation desk for accessing the computer workstations.
