Renew

The due date stamped on your borrowed book is the library's official notice that the book will be due on that date. The borrower is responsible for the return or renewal of the book on or before the due date. Fines are assessed after the due date at the rate of $0.25 cents per day per book. You may renew a book once. There are several ways to renew.

Several Ways to Renew

1. Online
You may renew online by signing on to your account and check the books you wish to renew.

2. By Phone
Telephone renewals are available at the UWEST library, please call 626-571-8811 ext. 319 during library opening hours. Have your student ID ready.

2. In Person
You may renew books in person at the circulation desk. You must bring your library card with you in order to renew them.

3. By Email
You may renew books through email. Send an email to library_overdue@uwest.edu with your student ID number.
Exception: If the book is recalled by another patron, it cannot be renewed. Document delivery books are not renewable through our system, you must contact a library personnel to renew if your book is renewable.
