Reserve Materials

Reserved materials are a collection of items (books, articles, etc) located behind the circulation desk that faculty members have placed on short term loan (1 or 3 hours). Check Course Reserves to see which items have been reserved for your class.

Reserve Policy

1. Students can only borrow one item each time.
2. The time for reading the reserve materials is limited to 1 or 3 hours per student depending on the limit set by the instructor.
3. Students must pay a fine of $1.00 per hour if they don't return the item on time.
4. Items may not be taken out in consecutive sessions, unless there is no one waiting.
5. Materials are first come, first serve. There are no advanced appointments for borrowing the item.

You may wish to be put on a waiting list if the item is currently out. We will contact you when the item is returned, and you will have 15 minutes to pick up at the circulation desk.
